ok this is what ive been working on for the better part of two weeks iz a maple and walnut table top...we started out with this really crapy and digusting old maple top and i had to rip out the really bad defects glue it all back to gether and fill in the areas that i took out with strips of walnut so it would stay the rigth width after that i had to do the usual stuff plain wide belt sander and route the edges and finish it with clear coats this is what i came up with
